Camp Widjiwagan 2009 Slideshow

Since 1998, YMCA Camp Widjiwagan has served as the Nashville area's No. 1 Regional Day Camp. A new tradition in Camp Widjiwagan camping has begun with the Overnight Camp openning summer 2008. The Camp Widjiwagan Overnight Camp facilities offer an overnight camping experience to the children of Middle Tennessee and beyond.

Through the years our goal has remained the same:
To plant seeds of Christian Character in kids and families, creating an impact in Nashville and neighboring communities through outdoor programs designed to encourage participants to know the person of Jesus Christ and to grow in spirit, mind, and body.

The Camp Widjiwagan Overnight Camp helps campers grow through expanded programming and daily experiences with peers and counselors. During each camp session, campers will experience new friendships, create new memories, and learn the values that will shape the rest of their lives. While all these things are currently happening in the Camp Widjiwagan day camp setting, the opportunity to expand the reach through resident camp is immeasurable.
